I have been battling a losing battle with dandruff for the past month and a half. I have had sensitive and dry scalp in the past, but I’ had stopped getting dandruff for many years until it came back again recently.
So, I was at quite a loss last month when there are always this white flakes on my shoulders, not only was I getting dandruff, the scaly scalp was damn itchy. Not to mention how embarrassing it is to have snow flakes all over your shoulder, especially when I am wearing dark color top, that’s really the most horrible of the horrid.
Someone told me maybe I should consider changing the shampoo and conditioner I am using to some other Hair Products. I have heard that before, that sometime a change in the shampoo or conditioner will solve that problem. Since I was almost running out of the shampoo and conditioner, I just stopped restocking them.
I bought a new bottle of Purify Shampoo for Dandruff and Purify conditioner and started using them, within 3 days of stopping my old shampoo and conditioner, I realized I was not getting as much dandruff as I used to get. Within a week, and with a little help from my trusty olive oil, my scalp is now almost back to the way it was, relatively healthy, with no dandruff or scars that caused by scratching. I’m very happy about that.
However, it got me wondering about why the old shampoo and conditioner would cause my scalp to shed some much flakes. I’ve never had a hair product do this to me before, I wash my hair almost everyday, maybe something in it did not agree with my scalp? Anyway, I seem to have isolated the the cause of my traumatic month-long battle with scalp problem and I’m working on clearing the dandruff completely, with great success.
