I called the red bag green not because I am color blind, though it looks like a small pocket book, it can turn into a shopping bag, thus an environmental friendly bag that reduces the use of plastic bags. :-)

Included in the package also a few books that I have bought earlier, thinking that the big boy could bring back here as he was going to come back. He must also accidentally mail the Lunar New Year stamps for the year of rat even though being told no one collects stamps any more. :-)

Greeting cards are the quickest and easiest way to extend our warm wishes to family members and friends as we celebrate the holidays season. I have one big piles of cards that I collected, saved and kept in a box. But, as E-cards getting more popular and more and more people have gone electronic, paper based greeting cards are rare commodity this days.

When was the last time you received a “real” paper card? Do you miss receiving printed holiday cards? I do. Frankly, I have not received or sent many paper cards for a couple of years now. May be I should start anew the tradition of sending greeting cards during the holiday seasons, so that I can receive this beautiful cards again.

I have told myself to do this early each year although it does seem kind of strange to be thinking of what to get people for Christmas in October.

I hate shopping in crowded stores so I’m trying to be smart this year. I might even do a lot of my shopping online if I can get my act together and come up with some gift ideas for all the people on my list. I’ve already been searching for online coupons on http://ncnatural.com/Resources/Coupons/index.html to save big bucks. I found Gap coupons, may be can use to get something for my nephew? I also found Dell coupons, I have been thinking of getting a notebook for my father, his PC is 5 years old, time to change to a better machine.

It’s actually not that difficult to get gifts for hubby, he collects many things, so long I get him something that he is currently collecting, he would be happy.

Whereas, I find it the hardest to get gifts for my father and my uncle. My father is quite fussy about things, he doesn’t always like shirts that others pick for him. But, he is into gadgets.

I think he will appreciate a peg board like this at the garage, to organize his tools and gadget. Something to consider next Father’s Day or his birthday!
