Windshield cracked on the highway

We had a frightening experience few years back. While driving on the highway in full speed, a pebble or a tiny hard stuff hit the windshield. The whole windshield turned into spider web lookalike crack lines.

My friend KE who was driving the car got us down, he broke the windshield completely. Then he drove us back home in the car without the windshield before he drove to the workshop to get the windshield replaced. He drove really slowly and carefully, but if you ask me, the 45 minutes drive in a car without the windshield was quite scary!

We should have just called a friend to pick us up. We should have called the toll service or let the technicians from the workshop pick up the car. Do you know that places that do repair and replacement of auto glasses like Minneapolis auto glass can have their certified technician come to wherever you may be? They can pick up the vehicle and return to you the same day if needed!

Saving on car care

Have you ever been to a car workshop where they do regular servicing, change parts and even fixing cars that are badly damaged? I was amazed every time I saw these guys fixed up a totally wrecked car. They were turning the rusty tin cans into a sparkling and shiny automobile. They cut it up, welded it and with a nice coat of paint, the car is like new again.

Since both hubby and I are driving used cars, he drives a 2001 Toyota Camry and mine is an old junk 1990 Nissan, we do frequent the workshops once every few months. Just last week, hubby ran over some nails and the front tire was flat and need to get fixed at the workshop. We are very lucky to have very reliable and honest mechanics to work on our cars, especially after we heard some horrible stories from our friends who got rip off by some dishonest black sheep.

Have you heard about AAMCO? The guys there are dedicated lots too. They are currently running a promotion. All you have to do is to fill up some information, then download three money saving offers. I don’t know about you, our cars are in need of transmission fluid change anytime, and why not get it for $29.95 at AAMCO?
