A few of my friends have taken the trouble to have me sit down for a few hours, going through the steps by steps and they taking down notes. We usually talk on the phone using the VoIP service that we subscribe to. We are able to talk for an hour for free on the VoIP phone systems if it’s a call originated from a land line to another land line. But we won’t have time to talk for an hour today. Since we have decided to sell the tutoring business and move to IL, making money online will be the main transitional job that keep me busy until I get a “real” job. If work at home turns out fine, I may not even go look for a job outside the home when we are in IL. Since the big boy is making enough to pay bills, it’s time for me to take a backseat and work at more relax pace. I need to recuperate from working my butt off running a tutoring center and a preschool! :-)

Anyone has gained or lost PR this round? With multiple blogs doing ungooglely activities, every time granny dances, my heart dances up and down too, or have you been immuned?.:-)

Now that I work at home myself majority of time and I realize it’s good to get to know some people who work from their home. Sure, they may be a lot of people who work from home on a part time basis. I suppose I’ve always been in that category. Having been in teaching jobs that practice flexi-hours and no clock in hours, I do work from home from time to time. Now of course I have several blogs/websites and I earn money through various forms of monetization methods.

I am afraid I don’t really have time to write a book explain to everyone who emailed me asking about Montessori, I would suggest you pick up an introductory book on the philosophy of Montessori education. The other thing is: we can discuss, but ultimately you are THE mother who knows your child best. I don’t really know your child personally, so I can’t really diagnose what his/her problem and tell you what you are supposed to do. You have to get educated and observed her/him if you want to help your child.

Are you ready to move on to other method of making money online if this whole thing collapses? There is no point staying around bitching on and on, it would just make us look pathetic!

In fact, do you know there are networks that do not rely on PR at all, I have been getting steady offers from them lately. In fact, I have quite a lot of backlogs to clear in the next 48 hours, I got to work on them instead of surfing the net or reading other blogs.:-)

I do not blog to gain popularity nor to verify my own existence. I do not blog to please others because you can never. I do not blog because I have nothing better to do, in fact I am very busy in my real life. Running a business, just moved house, still with boxes of things waiting to be unpacked.

Have a few assignments meeting deadlines in less than 2 hours. I have not been working much last two weeks, practically let the $$$ flew me by, need the rest anyway. So, tonight, die die also must complete this assignments.

While I was out for half a day, first news I got when I login to feed reader was: granny G is going around town smacking the naughty ones AGAIN. I first read that wuching wanted to hang himself, then Lilian was raising a black flag. Needless to say, I quickly went on to check all my blogs. My cari makan punya blog is getting a big salted egg, the rest are spared. Should I be sad or glad?

Initially wanted to setup the work space in one of the spare bedrooms, but after consideration, thought this arrangement would be more convenient. I can watch what’s cooking in the kitchen from here, thus can avoid burning another pot. :-)

When I turned on the router, both the DSL and PWR lights were turned on and not blinking! Yahooo, that means I can start moving the computers home tomorrow!

My itchy hand went to press “upgrade” before my brain register “backup”. What happened? The whole blog went blank! I tried to read the instructions on how to restore the files. Well, they might as well write in Greek. Mess around with the files, trying to find the backup files. Couldn’t find.

No choice, I submitted a support ticket. Got a reply within 10 minutes, but the reply said he can’t help me. Huh? I get on the 24/7 support chat with the support guy, he suggested I submit another ticket and explained the problem in details. Got another speedy reply, this time I am given a very simple answer to a complicated problem. The problem is due to plugin incompatibility, and the culprit is the “UltimateTagWarrior”. The solution: deactivate the plugin. And, voila, everything works now! Then, I proceed to upgrade this blog, but before I press the “upgrade” button, I did two essential steps: backup the files and deactivate all the plugins!

Before you upgrade your WP, remember to backup and deactivate all the plugins, I learned my lesson today!

Update: There are still some plugin compatibility issues that I am dealing with, currently I have deactivate all of them and add in one by one to troubleshoot which is the culprit.

The truth is, I have been so busy with blogging for money, moving and other miscellaneous unavoidable tasks in life, I haven’t have time to explore any further. So, do you have a profile on facebook? What have you done with it so far?

Jess said she was not the last, which mean I am the last to blog about this meeting. :-) Some more I am “stealing” the picture from Chin Nee’s blog. I am too lazy to scrap the pictures, Chinnee’s Photoshop skill so good, why reinventing the wheels right? (Laziness and lame excuse are cousins, don’t they?)

I am so glad I drove downtown to meet Miche, Jess and Chinnee on a Saturday (I always avoid the tourist mall during weekend) Really want to thank Chin Nee for initiating the meet. We hit it off like we have known each other for years. Our meeting reminds me of the one that I have with my schoolmates during every Chinese new year.

The daddies were really good. They were keeping the children occupied and allowed us to yak, yak, yak, we actually yak away 3 hours, I couldn’t believe it when I finally looked at the watch! I must have refilled the drinks 2-3 times to replenish the saliva. Whoever decided to go Burger King with free flowing drinks is so clever!

Malacca is a small town or more like a big village, it turned out that Miche and I met before, I was able to recognize her hubby but only recalled I did meet Miche too later. Sorry lah, that was 6-7 years ago! Jesslyn and my mother were from the same place and have the same surname. I am pretty sure some of my uncles may know her family. But, we didn’t get to trace our family trees and ancestry roots because we were busy exchanging blogging tips and information. :-)

Have been busy running errands and making arrangement for the moving and renovations, would not have time to stay online too much. If you have tagged me, please be patience with me while I am getting myself settle down with the move.

I didn’t realize how slow my internet connection until the other day when I was at the Mamak restaurant with WIFI service, I jumped on the boss’s laptop real quick and WHAT A DIFFERENCE ! Maybe I should get a laptop and park myself at the restaurant permanently!:-)

I have been pulling my hairs trying to fix this, I re-uploaded the original copy of the CSS stylesheets and tried to figure out what went wrong in the CSS stylesheets, but couldn’t identify the problem. Do you have any idea? Well, worse come to worse, got to change the theme again.

The ranking hasn’t been changed and it’s not reporting correctly too. At first, I saw the weekly ranking of leahschrader.com went down to 400k, I was very happy, who knows after a week of “no data”, it went back up to 1.2 M. Pulling hairs….

On Tuesday, I decided to take a break, went to bed really early. Got up saw nothing much available on TigaP, so I am just finishing up all the pending assignments from other network.

Woke up to a beautiful Sunday morning, after taking an 8 hours sleep that I haven’t have in a long while. I turned on the computer after breakfast, Internet Service was still down. Couldn’t get online, couldn’t blog, couldn’t surf, couldn’t blog hop, what to do? I went for a walk, talked to my mother, read Sunday’s paper in the morning. After lunch, I decided to leave earlier to go back home, I was thinking I could get online at home so that I could clear all the pending opps.

Turned on the computer the minute I reached home, Internet service was DOWN at home too! So, I did a little clean up and went to take a nap, that was a 3 hours long nap! Woke up really refreshed and rested. Checked the line, yahoooo, Internet service came back to normal and I started blogging.:-)

Many of us work 5 or 51/2 days week, and Saturday and Sunday are supposed to be our non working rest days. But, do we actually rest during the weekend or get busier during the weekend? Are you the kind of person whose week starts on Friday evening, and end up more tired by the time Sunday says good bye?
