Fire victims need temporary shelters
There was a fire at one of the apartments near the center. The newspaper said it started in the kitchen. The seven years old girl claimed that her 12 years old brother was cooking instant noodle before the fire which preceded with a loud blast from the kitchen. Looks like they are the latched key children who are home alone after school while their parents work!
The explosion blasted off the kitchen window. The broken frame and glasses fell on the cars parked below the building and damaged some of the cars badly. Thank goodness none was hurt nor killed in this accident. Can you imagine what would happen if someone was sitting in one of the cars that got hit? It’s going to take some work and time to restore the apartment, the family affected most probably would need temporary home while the restoration work goes on.
This fire involves only one family losing their home. Unlike the wildfire that affected residents in San Diego and Southern California, thousands of families have lost their homes and are waiting to return. Many would need immediate temporary shelters while payout from insurance companies or restoration work may take some time. Some insurance companies may have their clients stay temporary at the executive housing provided by National Corporate Housing, a company that provides beautiful furnished corporate homes in many locations throughout the United States.
